Robin Yang is a Taiwanese-American consultant (/designer/writer/speaker) living in California, who taught herself HTML/CSS in high school so that she could build better fansites for the Backstreet Boys. After graduating from Barnard College with a degree in Sociology, she began her career in the game development and consumer technology industry, starting off in project management and production, working her way through user research and design, then eventually landing in product strategy and management.

She served as the product lead on Ozaria, a brand-new educational game designed from the ground up to teach computer science to a new generation of students. Most recently, she owned the web and mobile experiences at a consumer lending platform.
As an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, Robin has volunteered at organizations such as ChickTech, Girls Who Code and the Global Game Jam, and given talks on subjects such as salary negotiation, self-advocacy, and impostor syndrome at conferences such as the IGDA Leadership Summit and the Game Developers Conference.
